Break Bulk

What is break bulk?

Break bulk refers to cargo that does not fit into a standard shipping container. Instead, the freight is transported individually via crates, drums, or other handling equipment. Examples of break bulk cargo include construction equipment, generators, turbines, yachts, or any oversized cargo.
